Acknowledging the region’s challenges, Rwot Acana attributed the poor state of education to the effects of the war, which has disrupted communities and access to learning.

He also called upon organizations to support education initiatives in Acholi, noting that collaboration is essential to rebuild and strengthen the sector.

The cultural leader encouraged families to embrace the free education provided by the government, reminding the community that education is a critical tool for breaking the cycle of poverty and building a prosperous future for Acholi youth.
