Eddy Kenzo has hit back at remarks Bebe Cool made during his January 1, 2026 press conference, saying in an interview today that he took the comments personally.

Bebe Cool had claimed that Eddy Kenzo knows nothing about the copyright management system and even suggested that such a system does not exist.
In response, Eddy Kenzo and his management issued a harsh statement, saying Bebe Cool benefits from mentioning Kenzo’s name in the media. Kenzo added that the legendary artist does not understand his target audience.
“I have trending songs that people know word for word, but Bebe Cool only comes out to downplay our efforts when we are relevant,” Kenzo said.
Kenzo acknowledged his friendship with Bebe Cool’s family, especially his children who are fans, and apologized for using harsh words. However, he later referred to Bebe Cool as a fool, vowing never to speak about him again.
Kenzo also stated that there is nothing Bebe Cool knows better than him except spoken English.
