What started as a joke has turned into a life-changing moment for renowned stand-up comedian and show host MC Kash Owakabi.
During the Mayor of Kirabo Show on 26th December, MC Kash had the audience laughing hard as he cracked jokes about his several failed attempts to buy a car, even sharing how he attended his son’s graduation without one. The jokes landed, the crowd laughed but one man in the audience listened deeply.
That man was Mr. Mungufeni Feni.
Days later, on 8th January, MC Kash received an unexpected phone call. Mr. Mungufeni asked him to “take his long legs” and come see him. What followed left the comedian speechless.
“I enjoyed your jokes,” Mr. Mungufeni reportedly told him, “but let’s end that joke today.”
In an extraordinary act of generosity, Mr. Mungufeni gifted MC Kash a Subaru as an early birthday present, instantly turning comedy into testimony.
A deeply emotional MC Kash took to social media to express his gratitude, praising Mr. Mungufeni Feni as “a big man with a golden heart” and a living example of love in action.
“God locates His people,” MC Kash shared. “You have changed my story with your actions of love, just as the Bible says.”
The comedian concluded his message with repeated thanks, giving all glory to God and blessing Mr. Mungufeni for being exactly what the world needs more of kindness backed by action.
