Importantly, Alfred Olwa described the initiative as a significant milestone for both the church and the wider community.

Moreover, he explained that the lecture will give young people an opportunity to reflect on courage and servant leadership.

Similarly, he urged students and community members to draw lessons from Luwum’s unwavering faith during political turmoil.

Historically, Archbishop Luwum died in 1977, and his death remains a defining moment in Uganda’s history.

Therefore, church authorities say his legacy continues to inspire conversations about justice, integrity, and moral responsibility today.

In the same vein, organizers say respected scholars and clergy will deliver presentations examining Luwum’s theological contributions.

Subsequently, panel discussions will encourage dialogue on faith-based leadership in contemporary society.

Meanwhile, diocesan officials have finalized preparations and coordinated closely with university administrators to ensure a smooth program.
